Note: Since 2017, EPA is published in cooperation with the Policy Studies Organization and Wiley. The official journal homepage at Wiley hosts all EPA issues and provides guidelines on how to submit your paper as well as further information on the journal.

EPA is a double blind peer-reviewed journal on policy research in Europe. It focuses on policy research

  • with an emphasis on European countries, issues and studies
  • which follows a comparative approach
  • which contributes to the theoretical understanding of policy research.

EPA invites original and high quality papers that apply a European perspective on policy analysis or that apply a non-European perspective to a European case. It publishes only original contributions written in English. EPA issues appear twice a year, in May and November.

EPA is edited by Nils Bandelow, Peter Biegelbauer, Fritz Sager and Klaus Schubert  (general editors), and the journal cordially invites guest editors for special issues.
